  7. The Maxpeed SS-4 intelligent 4 port serial controller is ideal for systems
  8. with limited number of users initially, yet needs to be easily upgradable to
  9. more users later.  The SS-4 upgrade kit upgrades the SS-4 controller to an
  10. 8-port controller without the need to re-configure the device driver.  The
  11. SS-4 includes the MaxScreen feature which allows 3 concurrent sessions per
  12. terminal as well as the MaxPrint feature which supports either a direct or
  13. transparent printer on each terminal.  The SS-4 eliminates interrupts to the
  14. host CPU which minimizes CPU processing time and maximizes multiuser
  15. performance running up to 38,400 baud across all ports.  The SS-4 is backed by
  16. a 5 year warranty.
